Asset Management:
Often, lenders take title to property through deeds-in-lieu
of foreclosure, settlement agreements, non-judicial foreclosures
or judicial foreclosure actions. When this occurs, AMRESCO's
Special Servicing
Department, directly, or through our nationwide network
of subcontractors, provides asset management services for the REO
properties. These services include, site inspections, maintenance
work, collection of rents, eviction of non-paying tenants, leasing
activities, valuation estimates, development of marketing strategies
and selling the asset in a time frame and pursuant to a marketing
plan agreed to by the lender. Our primary goal for each REO property
is to maximize the recovery on that asset as quickly and efficiently
as possible. |
